Ms. Patricia L. Levien is Victoria's Pain & Rehabilitation Center's Family Nurse Practitioner with special training and skill in family-centric general health care. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Pat worked in a hospital setting including as a charge nurse for 21 years. She obtained her BSN and MSN degrees from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.

Patricia Levien, FNP enjoys working in Pain Medicine because it is challenging and rewarding at the same time. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Patricia L. Levien, NP performs preventative, diagnostic and treatment procedures for a variety of acute and chronic diseases, conditions, and injuries.

Family Nurse Practice is an advanced practice registered nurse who works autonomously or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver family-oriented care. Significant diseases and conditions treated by Family Nurse Practitioners include cold and flu, infections, high blood pressure, hormone imbalance, hepatitis, diabetes, lacerations or minor trauma, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Medical tests, procedures and therapies provided by Family Nurse Practitioners include medical history analysis, physical exams, diagnostic testing, nutrition and treatment plan development, hormone balancing, immunization delivery, wound suturing and removal, and patient education.
